The Vibrant Moods of LED lighting

The colour of your LED lights is an important component of light boxes. Different colours can affect mood of the environment the light box is placed in. It’s also a nice to change the colour of the LED lights for special occasions or events.

The CN Tower in Toronto effectively uses external LED lights to reflect holidays and events. Blue is frequently used to support home sports teams. Red has been used to reflect the Chinese New Year. Blue and white is used for the first day of winter.

There are other colour combinations to consider. Colours can be split into cool shade and warm shades. The cooler LED lights such as, black, blue, purple and green are used to express mystery, cold climates or to blend in with darker environment. Night clubs, bars and theaters frequently use these colours in dark environments. Aquariums also use blues for fish tanks as well.

Warmer colours such as red, orange, yellow and white are used in lively atmospheres. Restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and arcades frequently use warm colours to invite customers in and create an energetic environment.

At event venues such as bowling alleys or mini-golf, a combination of LED lighting is used. These venues frequently use black lighting to entire room by brightening neon colouring or substances with higher quantities of phosphorus.

LED light boxes can change LED colours for practical use. For example during waking hours or work activity they can use warmer colours. At night they can be used as a night light by changing to darker LED colours. Custom light boxes can lift you mood with the right colour choices.
