You can really brighten your home with the use of custom light boxes. Light boxes come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They have optimal placement choices as well. Light boxes are durable and the LED light bulbs won’t dim for over ten years. Custom light boxes require low electricity to light them and can be left on hours each day.

When getting custom light boxes for your home it’s important to consider which rooms they will be placed.  Light boxes can be placed just about any room but it’s important to consider what the room is being used for.

Kitchens are busy areas that can benefit from the use of simple edge lit light boxes or traditional acrylic. Due to the circulation of moisture and food oils, fabric light boxes aren’t the best light boxes to place in the setting. There light boxes will stain and discolour over time. The other light boxes are easy to clean and can provide ample lighting for countertops.

Desk areas are another popular location for light boxes. Regular acrylic and edge lit light boxes provide additional desk lighting and are placed on the desk top. Fabric display light boxes are preferred for the wall space.

All custom light boxes are used to brighten dark corners that don’t readily get light from the main light source. They can also be used a nightlight for young children. The light setting can be adjusted for brightness and there are a handful of colour choices.
