Shape up and ship up – Exploring the possible shapes of light boxes

Custom light boxes are brilliant structured boxes with an illuminated screen. They have different customizable features such as image display, frame material, screen material, LED colours and shapes. Many people don’t know that there are many light box shapes to select from rather than just the common square or rectangular frame.

As mentioned regular light boxes come with the usual square or rectangular shape. Frame shapes for custom light boxes can come in simple to complex shapes. The simpler shapes can use snap box frames or edge-lit light boxes.  Both of these light boxes can also display simple graphics and use acrylic display screens.

From more complex shapes edge-lit light boxes are the better option. These light boxes use minimal frames that aren’t as visible as snap-frame light boxes. Since acrylic screens are used there is a limit to the size of the light box.

There are many creative things you can do using custom light box frames. You can have one large LED light box shaped into the silhouette of your favourite thing. This can be anything from pets to initials to iconic characters to musical instruments. Light boxes shaped into logos or symbols are also popular.
 Another popular arrangement is to have several smaller edge-lit light-boxes on the wall. You can use this arrangement to depict a night sky with a moon and stars. Nature themed LED light boxes shapes are also quite common to use. The light-box colours can be adjusted to reflect different colours as well.
